It was cute a few years ago when people first started doing it, but now it’s just plain annoying. The compulsion that nearly every site, be it blog or news site, feels that they must make up some April Fool’s gag has done nothing but force me to fly through all of my feed’s articles that have a date of April 1st.

Can’t we just start a new fad where every site sends me a gift around Christmas. I’d prefer that one much more.
